LifeStraw Carbon Capsule Replacement – 2-Pack

The Carbon Capsule Replacement fits both the LifeStraw Steel & LifeStraw Go with 2-Stage Filtration. By now you likely have read that the Steel and Go with 2-Stage Filtration have a dual-stage filter: hollow fiber membrane (HFM), and a small carbon capsule at the top/bottom.

The HFM lasts for 1,000 liters and is not replaceable, but the carbon capsule lasts for 100 liters and is replaceable. If you would like to purchase the LifeStraw Go with 2-Stage Filtration then click Here.

Replacing the carbon capsule in your LifeStraw Steel is quick and easy to do. Simply unscrew the bottom cap of the LifeStraw Steel and gently remove the capsule. Discard the used one. Insert the new capsule into the bottom opening of the straw and and press firmly until it’s secured.

Replacing the carbon capsule in your LifeStraw Go with 2-Stage Filtration is also simple. Unscrew the the filter from the bottle lid and gently remove the capsule. The capsule will be at the top of the filter between the HMF and the lid. Insert the new capsule into the straw and and press firmly until it’s secured. Discard the used one.
