To rehydrate, toss this mozzarella onto the food you are cooking, cover with tin foil and let the steam works its magic- or spritz it with water and it will soften right up!

Every ounce of mozzarella provides about seven grams of protein, similar to the amount of protein present in one ounce of cooked chicken. It is a good source of calcium, phosphorus and zinc, and probiotics. This cheese is also a good source of vitamin B12 and Vitamin A, and also has modest levels of copper, selenium, iron, pyridoxine, vitamin E, and manganese.
