Delicious mashed potatoes are an excellent addition to any emergency food store – and they’re so easy, you can use them for a regular meal, as a side, or as a thickener for soups, stews, or other freeze-dried meals. These potatoes come in a resealable #10 can; once you open the can, they’re still good for up to 1 year!
Once you’re ready to prepare these sumptuous potatoes, you only need to blend 1 part potato granules and 4-5 parts of liquid (depending on how thick you like your potatoes) that’s been heated to just before boiling. Depending on how creamy you like your mashed potatoes, you can prepare these with water, milk, or cream.
