Current Opportunities
Customer Service Representative / Admin Assistant
Full-time, in person in Victoria BC. $22-24/hour.
We are currently seeking a customer service representative to join our dynamic team. If you have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a desire to provide exceptional service to our customers, we want to hear from you.
Total Prepare has been providing emergency preparedness and self-reliance solutions to Canadians since 2012. Specializing in long term food storage, the company has grown to encompass everything from emergency kits to water storage, to PPE, high-vis equipment, and beyond.
As a customer service representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing courteous and professional assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat
- Listening to customers' concerns and finding effective solutions to meet their needs
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure consistent and efficient customer support
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in a CRM
- Upholding company policies and procedures while delivering top-notch service.
- Working within Cin7 and Microsoft Excel to create pricing quotes
- Auditing open orders to ensure timely fulfillment and communication.
Our must-haves:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Our nice-to-haves:
- Proficiency in using customer service software and tools (Cin7 and Hubspot)
- 2+ years in a customer service role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience working with WordPress/Woocommerce
